Rollin’, Rollin’, Rollin’, These Lip Balms Are Rollin’: The eos + Rachel Roy holiday 2014 Smooth sphere Lip Balms
and the award for Lip Balm a lot of likely to double as a cat toy goes to…the eos + Rachel Roy limited edition Smooth sphere holiday 2014 collection lip balms, yay!
Tabs loves playing with these things. They look like Easter eggs or bouncy balls, but they’re actually little lip balms. If I leave one sitting out, Tabs will bop it around the condo like it’s a crinkly ball.

Of course, now that I’m telling you this, and I want to take a picture of him playing with them, he has absolutely no interest in doing that whatsoever.
Cats.
That these double as cat toys is but one of the lots of cool things about this line of limited edition balms.

The product of a collaboration between eos and fashion designer Rachel Roy (who’s an eos die-hard), each one has a different tropically themed fragrance. There’s Indian summer Orange Blossom, Aloha Hawaii Strawberry Kiwi, St Barth’s Sunrise Pink Grapefruit and Barbados heat Wildberry.
I was hoping they’d also be flavored, and officially, they are, but alas, I can’t really taste anything when I’m wearing them.
They’re all USDA-certified organic, consist of shea butter and jojoba oil, and they’re complimentary of petrolatum, parabens and gluten.
On my lips, the colorless formula feels lightweight and smooth, and when I’m outside and the wind is whipping my ponytail around, my hair doesn’t stick to my lips.

Now, these absolutely aren’t as intensely hydrating as my go-to lip balm these days, the No. 28 Lip treatment Oil by hourglass (which is nothing short of amazing if your lips are Sahara-caliber dry like mine), but for a quick hit of light moisture, they’re just fine.
A three-pack with St. Barths, Indian summer and Aloha Hawaii is available now through January for $9.99 (and a single pack with Barbados heat is just $3.49) at Target, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, Ulta, Kohls and also online.
If it’ll help you make a decision, as cat toys, they’re 100% Tabby cat approved.
